The Check-In Volunteer plays an important role in creating a welcoming and organized experience for attendees at NBCF's Community Packing Parties. This volunteer will oversee the check-in process for individual volunteers and large groups, helping ensure a smooth event flow from arrival to participation.

Volunteer: On-Call Delivery Assistance

We are seeking dedicated On-Call Delivery Assistance Volunteers to support our NBCF Staff. As an On-Call Delivery Assistance Volunteer, you will play a vital role in our organization by helping us receive deliveries of gift-in-kind donations for National Breast Cancer Foundation. Most of our deliveries arrive Monday - Thursday between 9:30AM - 3:30PM with an occasional Friday delivery. 

Key Responsibilities:

On-Call Availability: Volunteers in this role will be on-call, meaning you may receive delivery requests on short notice. Your availability to assist with deliveries during these times will be greatly appreciated. Flexibility and availability to assist with deliveries on short notice is important.

Safe and Timely Deliveries: Ensure that all deliveries are made safely and within the specified time frame. Must have a willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.

Communication: Communicate any issues or concerns related to deliveries promptly to the coordinator or designated point of contact.

Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery details and inventory counts as deliveries are received.

You will receive email notifications and/or text messages notifying you of deliveries as they are coming in - which means you will need to opt-in to both in order to assist our team.
