Volunteers will proofread handwritten Encouragement Cards to ensure they are full of love and care, while also adhering to our guidelines.
These cards will included in our HOPE Kits that are sent to breast cancer patients, and we want to ensure that every word of encouragement is meaningful and impactful!
Responsibilities:
- Review cards for spelling, grammar, and clarity.
- Ensure the tone of the message is positive, compassionate, and appropriate for the recipient.
- Flag any content that may not align with the intent of providing encouragement and support.
- Bundling completed cards into bundles of 50 upon completion of proofing.
Skills Needed:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic grammar and spelling.
- Ability to provide feedback sensitively, if needed.
- A passion for spreading kindness and making a positive impact.
Logistics:
- Cards will be reviewed at NBCF HQ.
- Training documents on the guidelines for messaging will be provided.
- 1 hour shifts are available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and afternoons in the summer.
