We are requesting volunteers that are bilingual Spanish-speaking and at least 18 years of age to assist with this event.
Join us in making a meaningful impact at EmpowHER Latina, a vibrant, one-day summit that celebrates culture, champions entrepreneurship, and promotes health equity for Latinas.
As an NBCF volunteer, you will play a vital role in bringing NBCF’s mission to life. Your responsibilities will include:
- Set Up & Tear Down: Assist with setting up and breaking down the NBCF booth, including materials, signage, and supplies. *Set Up / Tear Down depends on your shift.
- Engage with Attendees: Welcome and talk with community members, providing information about NBCF’s programs, breast health, and local resources.
- Provide Bilingual Support: Communicate clearly in Spanish and English to ensure attendees fully understand the information and feel supported.
- Be on Your Feet: Expect to be standing or walking throughout your shift—comfortable shoes are encouraged!
- Distribute Materials: Hand out educational resources and giveaways
- Represent NBCF with Professionalism: Serve as a friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable representative of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, aligning with our mission and values.
- Create a Positive Experience: Help ensure a welcoming, inclusive, and empowering environment for all attendees.
This is more than a volunteer role—it’s a chance to uplift the community, advocate for health equity, and be part of a powerful movement to educate and empower Latinas.
