The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) High School Ambassador is a volunteer position for interested Sophomore, Junior, and Senior students. The High School Ambassador will focus on fundraising and spreading awareness of NBCF’s mission and resources. This involves informing students about NBCF’s offerings and ways to get involved with our organization. The High School Ambassador must be a self‐starter with a great desire to help others. He or she must be energetic, outgoing, and creative with outstanding communication skills. NBCF will select 25 students to be apart of the program. These students will have several required activities in order to complete their commitment:

Main Tasks
1. Fundraise
a. Host a fundraiser. Ambassadors will create and host fundraisers that revolve around NBCF’s mission of helping women now. 
2. Raise Awareness
a. Share NBCF’s mission and resources at school and in extracurriculars. Participate in opportunities to inform your community about NBCF’s offerings. 


Requirements
1. Create and host a fundraiser
2. 10 volunteer hours with NBCF throughout the program
3. Attend all meetings (virtual)
a. Meetings will involve training on how to be an ambassador, establish guidelines to meet requirements, and allow for progress updates. Meetings provide a great opportunity to connect with other ambassadors and collaborate on projects.
